Referral disclosure
How our referral service works
Last updated: 12 October 2026
We want you to know exactly what Robevski Contracting does — and doesn’t do — before you submit an enquiry or join our network.
What we do
Robevski Contracting is a renovation referral and contractor-matching service. We receive enquiries from homeowners, property investors, property managers and real estate agents, review the details provided, and where a suitable contractor from our network is available, introduce the customer to that contractor.
We also build partnerships with builders and tradespeople who want to receive customer enquiries.
What we don’t do
Robevski Contracting:
- is not a registered builder and does not carry out building or trade work;
- does not supervise construction or act as a project manager;
- does not manage renovations on your behalf;
- is not a party to the quotation or contract between you and a contractor; and
- does not guarantee or warrant any contractor’s work, pricing, availability, timeframes or conduct.
What contractors are responsible for
Contractors are independent businesses. Each contractor is solely responsible for their own quotations, building or trade contracts, permits and approvals, registrations and licences, insurance, project delivery, workmanship and warranties.
How we are paid
We are paid through referral fees and partnership arrangements with contractors, agreed in writing. This means we may receive a commission or fee when we introduce you to a contractor or when that contractor is engaged for work. Fee arrangements may differ between contractors.
How we choose who to introduce
We consider the type of work, location, budget range and timing you tell us about, along with each contractor’s services, service area and availability. Introductions are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that a suitable contractor will be available for every enquiry.
Checks we recommend you make
An introduction is not an endorsement. Before you engage any contractor, we recommend you:
- check their registration or licence on the relevant Victorian regulator’s public register, where the work requires it;
- confirm their ABN and that they hold appropriate insurance, including any domestic building insurance required for the work;
- obtain a written quotation and a written contract that clearly sets out the scope, price and timeframes;
- consider getting more than one quote; and
- visit Consumer Affairs Victoria for guidance on renovating and dealing with builders and tradespeople.
